The Uber One catch

Uber One credits you have banked (the percentage back on rides and orders) expire at the end of that membership cycle and cannot be used without an active membership — spend them before you cancel, not after. Separately, if Uber does refund an Uber One payment to you, you are blocked from repurchasing Uber One for 3 days.

Will Uber One still charge you after you cancel?

You keep Uber One benefits until the end of the current billing cycle. On a free trial, benefits end immediately on cancellation instead. Uber's help pages say to cancel at least 48 hours before your billing day to be sure the next cycle is not charged. If you use Family sharing, your linked Secondary Member loses Uber One access at the same moment, with no separate notice.

Refunds: Payments already charged for the current billing cycle are non-refundable, non-transferable and are not refunded pro-rata. Two documented exceptions in Uber's US Renewable Membership Terms: if you cancel within 24 hours before your renewal day and the next cycle's payment has already been processed, Uber issues an automatic refund of that payment; and if Uber itself terminates your membership, you get a pro-rated refund — unless the termination was for fraud or a terms violation.

The 60-second check

The only way to be sure a cancellation stuck is to look at your statement. Finletix reads a CSV, PDF, or screenshot and flags every recurring charge — including Uber One, duplicates, and silent price hikes — without ever touching your bank login.
