How to cancel Paramount+— and check you're not still being charged
Paramount+ is a classic trial-turned-subscription that hides in plain sight on statements.
Steps to cancel Paramount+
- 1Check the charge first: if Apple, Google, Roku, Amazon or a TV provider billed you, you must cancel through that third party — Paramount's terms say it cannot cancel those for you.
- 2If Paramount billed you directly, sign in at paramountplus.com with the email on the charge.
- 3Go to your Account at paramountplus.com/account — the Terms of Use name this as the place to manage or cancel a subscription bought from Paramount.
- 4Cancel the subscription there; you keep access until the cancellation takes effect.
- 5If you are still in a free trial, do this before the trial ends — cancellation then takes effect at the end of the trial rather than the end of a paid month.

Cancelling and deleting your account are not the same thing here. If you subscribed through an app store, deleting your Paramount+ account in the app cuts off access immediately rather than at the end of the period you already paid for, and Paramount states you get no refund for the remainder — you would have to ask the app store. Cancel if you want to watch out the rest of the month.
Will Paramount+ still charge you after you cancel?
You keep watching until the end of the current billing period, or the end of your free trial if you are in one. Any add-ons attached to the plan may end at the same time it expires. Fees already charged are not returned.
Refunds: None from Paramount. The Terms of Use state in capitals that you will not be refunded for any fees you have paid, apart from refunds you are legally entitled to. App-store subscribers can request a refund from their store instead.
Paramount+ runs $7.99–$12.99/mo — 29% less than the average streaming subscription we track (~$15/mo across the streaming services we track). Before you cancel, check whether you're also still paying for Netflix, Hulu, Disney+ — a common overlap in the same category.
The only way to be sure a cancellation stuck is to look at your statement. Finletix reads a CSV, PDF, or screenshot and flags every recurring charge — including Paramount+, duplicates, and silent price hikes — without ever touching your bank login.
