How to cancel Hulu— and check you're not still being charged
Hulu is one of the most-forgotten streaming services, especially when bundled with Disney+ and ESPN+.
Steps to cancel Hulu
- 1Open your Account page on hulu.com from a computer or mobile browser
- 2Select Cancel under Your Subscription
- 3If you are offered a pause instead, select Continue to Cancel
- 4Select Cancel Subscription
- 5Confirm your Account page now reads "Your subscription will be canceled" and keep the confirmation email
- 6If the Payment Information section names Amazon, Apple, Comcast Xfinity, Disney, Google, Kroger, HBO Max, Optimum, Roku, Spotify, T-Mobile or Verizon, cancel with that company instead — Hulu cannot stop their charge

The Disney+/ESPN/Hulu subscriber agreement requires you to cancel before 11:59 p.m. Eastern on the day before your term ends, so a cancellation on renewal day still gets billed for the next full term. Hulu + Live TV trials are also cut off the instant you cancel rather than running out the trial.
Will Hulu still charge you after you cancel?
You keep access to Hulu or your bundle plan until the end of the current billing cycle and are not billed again. A Hulu + Live TV free trial is the exception: it ends immediately on cancellation. Cancelling does not delete your Hulu account or the Disney account attached to it.
Refunds: Hulu does not refund or credit partially used subscription terms or billing periods except where required by law, and any refund it chooses to issue at its own discretion appears in Billing History and takes 7–10 business days to reach your bank.
Hulu runs $9.99–$18.99/mo — about in line with the average streaming subscription we track (~$15/mo across the streaming services we track). Before you cancel, check whether you're also still paying for Netflix, Disney+, Max (HBO Max) — a common overlap in the same category.
The only way to be sure a cancellation stuck is to look at your statement. Finletix reads a CSV, PDF, or screenshot and flags every recurring charge — including Hulu, duplicates, and silent price hikes — without ever touching your bank login.
