How to cancel LinkedIn Premium— and check you're not still being charged
LinkedIn Premium is often kept during a short job search and left running for a year.
Steps to cancel LinkedIn Premium
- 1Click the Me icon at the top of your LinkedIn homepage.
- 2Select Premium features from the dropdown.
- 3Click Manage subscription on the left pane under Plan Details — you are redirected to LinkedIn Admin Center.
- 4Click Purchases on the left pane.
- 5Select your Active subscription.
- 6Click Cancel subscription under Actions.
- 7Click Confirm cancel.

LinkedIn requires you to cancel at least one full day before your next scheduled billing date or you are charged for another cycle. Cancelling a free Premium trial ends it immediately and makes you ineligible for another free trial for at least 12 months. Banked InMail credits are lost at expiry and LinkedIn says they cannot be credited back, and if you are on a promotion or a plan LinkedIn no longer sells, cancelling forfeits that price permanently.
Will LinkedIn Premium still charge you after you cancel?
Your plan stays active until the end of the current billing cycle, then the account returns to Basic (free) and you lose InMail credits, profile insights, LinkedIn Learning, the Premium badge, advanced search filters, and competitive insights. Your profile, connections, and other data are kept.
Refunds: LinkedIn Premium may be refundable within 7 days from the date the subscription is charged, provided there has been no Premium usage. EU residents are entitled to a full refund within 14 days of the subscription beginning. Subscriptions bought through the LinkedIn iOS app must be refunded by Apple.
