The Adobe Creative Cloud catch

The "Annual, paid monthly" plan looks identical to month-to-month on your statement but is a 12-month contract — cancel it after the first 14 days and Adobe charges an early termination fee of 50% of the remaining months. Each Adobe plan must also be cancelled separately, so a separate Acrobat plan keeps billing after you cancel Creative Cloud.

Will Adobe Creative Cloud still charge you after you cancel?

You keep the paid apps and services until the end of the current billing period, after which they drop to free/starter functionality. Cloud storage is reduced to the free allowance (2 GB on most individual plans), and you have about 30 days to get back under the limit before files on Adobe's servers can be lost.

Refunds: Full refund if you cancel within 14 days of purchase; after 14 days there is no refund for the current period, and annual-paid-monthly plans incur a 50%-of-remaining-balance early termination fee.

How the charge looks on your statement

Adobe Creative Cloud usually posts as ADOBE followed by a transaction ID (e.g. "ADOBE 1234567890"); Adobe's Charge Finder tool only works for card charges showing "ADOBE" — which is why it can be hard to recognise when you're scanning a statement for things to cut.
