Here’s what CNBC TV’s producers were watching as the S & P 500 slid for a fifth consecutive day, and what’s on the radar for the next session. Stellantis’ Jeep Bob Broderdorf, CEO of Stellantis ‘ Jeep brand, will be live in the 7 a.m. hour ET with CNBC’s auto reporter Phil LeBeau and Squawk Box ‘s Becky Quick, Joe Kernen and Andrew Ross Sorkin as the company unveils the new Cherokee. The stock is down 26% so far this year. They have fallen about 42% over the past 12 months. Ford is up 14% in 2025, and shares have advanced around 4% in a year. The stock is off 5% from last month’s high. General Motors is up 6% this year, and the stock has jumped 21% in a year. The stock is off 7.7% from the November high. Tesla is down about 20% so far this year. Shares have added 43% over the past 12 months, and they’re down 35% from the December high. Toyota is up 1% in 2025. Shares have added 7% in the past year. The stock is 2% from the December high. STLA 1Y mountain Stellantis over the past 12 months Buckle The retailer with 440 stores — including one at the Mayfair Mall in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin — will report quarterly numbers in the morning. Buckle shares have gained 35% over the past three months. The stock is down 4.6% from the high hit earlier this month. AT & T The telecom giant hit a new high on Thursday. AT & T is up 7.4% in August. Shares are up 29% so far year to date. The relative strength index, or RSI, is 73.5. A reading above 70 is considered overbought, and anything below 30 is considered oversold. However, an RSI reading is no guarantee that a sudden sell-off or pop is imminent. RSI is one of many metrics used by traders and investors to gauge a stock’s recent move. The stock pays a quarterly dividend of 28 cents per share. The dividend yield is 3.77%. T YTD mountain AT & T shares in 2025 Seagate Technology The data storage company hit a new all-time high Thursday. Thanks to CNBC data man Chris Hayes for watching the numbers. Seagate fell later in the day, ultimately closing down 2.4%. Shares have surged 48% in three months. Insurance This S & P industry is tops this week, up 2%. Everest is up 4.9% this week. Arthur Gallagher is up 4.3% so far this week. Travelers is up 3.5% in four days. EG 5D mountain Everest Group in the past five days The airlines This is the worst performing S & P industry so far this week. It is down about 3.4%. Delta Air Lines is down around 4% so far this week. United is down 3.7% week to date. Southwest is down 1.4% in four days.
