Business Insider wants to hear from people working at 80 years old and older who can share details about their job and why they work.

BI has spoken to dozens of workers in their 80s, 90s, and even 100s across the socioeconomic spectrum. Some work because they have to for financial reasons. Some work to stay active and feel like they have a purpose. We are using these interviews in a series about what work looks like for this cohort.

This oldest component of the workforce is also one of the fastest-growing. The workforce continues to age, and forecasts suggest that while younger workers will participate less in the labor force over the next decade, older workers will participate more.

So far, we’ve written stories about workers in their 90s who are still active and healthy, and we’ve chronicled workers in their 80s who use the extra income to supplement Social Security.

We’ve told personal as-told-to stories about an 84-year-old Uber driver, an 87-year-old who works for his county’s department of aging after struggling to secure work, a motivated 80-year-old accounts receivable specialist with $37 in her wallet, and an 80-year-old who has worked at her company for six decades.

If you are at least 80, live in the US, work in some capacity, and are comfortable being interviewed, please fill out this quick Google form. BI will contact you if we are interested in your story.
